TALK’s Mission…is to enrich the culture and to honor the heritage of the Valley of Virginia by producing and presenting the arts in Lime Kiln’s unique spaces, and by conducting arts education programs.

TALK’s Value to our Community… for the past 27 years TALK has entertained, amazed and educated all who have ventured into the natural performance spaces, set in the ruins of a 19^th century kiln and quarry. “The shows seen under the stars at Lime Kiln have provided Rockbridge area residents and tourists alike with many truly magical experiences.” – The Lexington News Gazette.

How TALK helps our Community…in many ways, by creating employment, supporting local businesses from restaurants to hotels, and everything in between, generating tax revenue for local government from each and every tourist that attends a performance. While we are justifiably proud that over the years that we have both entertained and helped in the education of our citizens of all ages, our greatest sense of accomplishment is derived from knowing that we have helped maintain our culture, build our community, all while raising our spirits.

Why we need Sponsors…ticket and concession sales account for about 60% of the funds we require annually to present our season. Each year our community rallies to support their theater via our Monte Carlo Evening and we regularly attract grants from outside agencies that assist in the fulfillment of our mission. Concert sponsorship by local business and community leaders is an equally vital important component of facilitating our ability to fulfill our mission. By choosing to invest in TALK by becoming a sponsor of a performance makes you a key stakeholder in both TALK, our community and establishes you as a leader in preserving our unique culture and heritage.

Concert Sponsorship Benefits…a broad range of benefits can accrue by becoming a TALK sponsor from enhancing visibility due to positive publicity through a range of media, to developing deeper and more appreciated ties within our community. Promotional opportunities on site are also offered.
